About

Mr Daniel Stott is a consultant obstetrician and an accredited subspecialist in maternal and fetal medicine. He works at The Portland Hospital and at University College London Hospital (UCLH) where he has established a dedicated antenatal hypertension clinic at UCLH, caring for women with preeclampsia and associated disorders. He also leads fetal medicine clinics at UCLH’s fetal medicine unit and at Barnet Hospital. He is the UCLH trust lead for fetal monitoring and has tertiary level expertise in intrapartum care, instrumental delivery and C-section. He is an honorary lecturer at UCL, an associate editor of The Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and a faculty member for the Royal College’s post-graduate ROBUST course on instrumental delivery. Mr Stott offers private delivery care both at The Portland Hospital and at UCLH.

Mr Stott completed his training as a senior registrar in the London Deanery and as a fetal and maternal medicine subspecialist at UCLH. Previously, he was part of Professor Nicolaides’ research team at King’s College Hospital and completed his MD research thesis on hypertension in pregnancy and has published widely in this area.
